and construction drawings. The level
of CAD/CAE sophistication that we use is determined by our
client's needs and requirements. Our work flow emphasizes the re-use
of data wherever practical, including the incorporation
of data into our client's plant life-cycle management programs.
The
term "intelligent drawings" refers to CAD drawings having
embedded data or references to external databases which can be
utilized by software not related to CAD. The use of intelligent
drawings enables the automatic generation of accurate reports and
lists (e.g., BOM, valve lists, etc.) and the accurate transfer of
data into analysis programs (e.g., pipe stress analysis software,
electrical distribution system analysis software, etc.).
