Engineered
Gas Systems Worldwide offers
technologies to utilize low Btu landfill gas (LFG) or biogas directly for
combustion or conversion to electrical power by natural gas engines or
turbines. EGS-WW
can also enrich the contained methane
with a proprietary
process to efficiently separate
landfill gas (LFG) or biogas methane and CO2
incorporating hollow-fiber membrane technology.
In
concert with our strategic partners, we can clean up the LFG to deliver
product CO2 and pipeline quality
methane simultaneously.

The dry, highly- enriched
methane stream, typically 98% total hydrocarbons or better, can be used
directly as :
 |
High BTU natural gas, and
can be recompressed to provide Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), or sent
to a high-pressure pipeline for distribution. |
 |
Feed gas for an Liquefied
Natural Gas (LNG) liquefier after additional purification steps are
implemented, and cryogenically stored and distributed as necessary. |
 |
Higher Btu fuel gas
for smaller natural gas engines used on many landfills for power
generation, and thereby reduce total NOX emissions at the site. |
Contact
EGS-WW to convert LFG into valuable
energy or industrial grade gases. Our goal is to “turn one man’s trash
into another man’s treasure!” |
